Spring Festivities at Loch Melfort
Slowly but surely Spring is on its way with plenty of celebration to be had. First off there is a chance to thank all those hard working Mums with Mother’s Day on Sunday 3rd April. If you want to thank your own Mum or want a reason to get away with your children then why not visit us for a lovely weekend break. Everyone needs a reason not to have to cook! We also have another of our excellent Facebook photo competitions for all those super Mums out there. Easter soon follows on the 24th April with free Easter eggs for the children and afternoon tea for the grownups, followed by the annual Easter egg hunt in Arduaine Garden.Mother's Day Treat
We have wavered our usual child occupancy rate to make it even easier to bring the children along to celebrate being a Mum, and obviously to shower you with affection!
Stay two nights between 1st – 8th April for £150 per person and children under 12 stay FREE in your room. Enjoy the wonderful sights Spring brings to the area, whether it be the neighbouring NTS Gardens which is beautiful in any season or the farm animals being born all around. Visit our hens, ducks and Highland cattle, or wander along the shore and explore the rock pools.
Our offer includes one night Dinner, Bed and Breakfast in our 2 AA Rosette Dining room with the option for the children to eat of the Bistro Children’s menu, and one night Bed and Breakfast. As an added treat a complimentary afternoon tea for Mum will be available on arrival from 3-5pm in our Bistro where you can sit outside and enjoy the spectacular views and the children can enjoy the play park.
Offer based on two adults and up to two children sharing a room at £150 per person for the two night stay.
Spring and Easter Break
March and April
This Easter we are offering 2 nights Dinner Bed and Breakfast for only £98 per person per night with the third night at only £25 Bed and Breakfast. From 22 - 25 April, little ones will receive a free Easter egg on arrival with adults receiving afternoon tea in the Bistro.What better way to celebrate Easter than in the picturesque countryside surrounded by newborn lambs, not to mention a few chocolaty treats along the way! For extra Easter fun, Arduaine Garden next door will once again be hosting the Cadbury Easter Egg Trail every day over the Easter weekend with lots of Easter related fun and games.
If that’s not enough to keep the little ones entertained, the Hotel staff can help you plan a whale watching boat trip or perhaps a visit to one of the many nearby islands or a trip to see the famous Corryvreckan Whirlpool.
Mother’s Day Competition - Win a 2 Night Break
Due to the success of our Valentine's Romantic Pets competition, we thought we would run another one to coincide with Mother’s Day.
We want to see pictures of you and your Mum or you and your children doing something that make you a super Mum or something that you enjoy as a family - anything from holiday snaps, baking a cake, doing an activity together or something that shows the true meaning of being a Mum.
Simply upload your photos to our Facebook page and we’ll pick the one we think show’s the best mum in action. The winner will be notified privately after the closing date.
Closing date is Mothering Sunday, Sunday 3 April, with the winner receiving a 2 day break at a time of their choosing worth £340 - A two night Break for two adults and up to 2 children U12 staying in the same room with one night Dinner, Bed and Breakfast and one night B&B.
NTS Arduaine Spring Festival: 6th – 8th May
Rooms for the Spring Festival are snapping up fast with the last few rooms available. However, there is still a chance to join us for a two day package with talks and tours from Head Gardener Maurice Wilkins and horticultural experts, Gourmet dining in our 2 AA Rosette Dining room and entry to the gardens themselves.
Prices are £295 per person sharing a twin or double room or £395 for single occupancy of a twin or double room.
