Partners in Policymaking Program

New Jersey Partners in Policymaking is an 8-month leadership development and advocacy education program for adults with developmental disabilities (over 18) and family members of children and transition age youth available through The Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities with funding from the New Jersey Council on Developmental Disabilities. The goal of program is to prepare the next generation of disability advocates to work toward meaningful change in our state.
Participants selected for the program will learn about best practices and important areas for advocacy from nationally-known experts through a series of educational leadership development sessions held one weekend per month, beginning in September 2018 and ending in April 2019.
The Boggs Center is now accepting applications from people with developmental disabilities and family members of children or transition age youth for the 2018-2019 program. Download the application to learn more about the program and how to apply.
Applications must be received by July 15, 2018. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by August 1, 2018.
