Everything is awesome!
We were so proud to be one of ten finalists in last Thursday's Social Venture Partners (SVP) “2014 Fast Pitch” competition! Our Executive Director, Erika Johnson, delivered a 3-minute "pitch" about Creative Reuse, and we won both second prize ($5,000) and the Capacity Building prize! The Forbes Fund and the SVP Partners each contributed an additional $500 to all finalists. This is huge news for Creative Reuse, and will help us to increase our capacity build Pittsburgh's "creative infrastructure" through reuse. We would especially like to thank our coaches, Lucia Campriello and John Jones for helping us to craft a winning pitch.
