Scholarship Competition
May 23 - 7 p.m.
Ruth Eckerd Hall

More than 200 outstanding Pinellas County public high school junior and senior students enter the annual competition in the fields of instrumental music, vocal music, theater, dance, visual and video arts.
Through several rounds of preliminary and semifinal judging, 20 finalists are selected to compete at Ruth Eckerd Hall for scholarships up to $7,000.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
Seniors and Students are $5

This year, through our Doorways Scholarship Initiative, we are proud to recognize the achievements of 1,535 students through our Doorways Celebration Night at the Rays on April 29.
Our Doorways scholars, educators, parents, mentors, sponsors and friends are invited to attend this game at a discount, but we’d also ask that you consider donating $25 so many of our Doorways students can go to the game free of charge.

Education Reform Symposium
Encourages Dialogue

Approximately 100 corporate and community leaders of Tampa Bay heard from local and state leaders on educational reform issues at the "Your Voice in Education Reform Symposium" on April 12 at Tropicana Field in St. Pete. It was a lively event that sparked healthy debate and viewpoints from all sides of the issues.
