IMMANUEL'S MISSIONAL IDENTITY

Ever since your vestry conducted the parish survey, we have been working and praying with the results to discern a statement we are calling our Missional Identity. We are pleased to have successfully discerned the statement. It is as follows:

Immanuel is a Welcoming Community,

Celebrating and Sharing the Good News of Jesus

through Worship, Prayer, Learning, and Service.

In addition, we approved a statement of Core Values that states our current priorities in six key areas.

OUR CORE VALUES:

Worship and spiritual nurture

 • We celebrate our Episcopal traditions and sense

     of God’s presence among us.

 • Experience meaningful sermons that relate faith to life.

 • Music

Christian education

 • We offer opportunities for all to learn.

Pastoral leadership

 • Care and counsel for individuals in need.

In serving others, we bless and are blessed

 • Outreach programs.

 • We respond to human need by loving service

Our caring congregational feeling is a gift of God

 • We encourage opportunities for fellowship.

 • We lovingly welcome all new and diverse people.

Our physical church structure

 • Retain and maintain our buildings and grounds

     to the glory of God..
