COFFEE SUPPLIES FOR FRIENDSHIP HOUSE
During the seasons of Epiphany and Lent,
Immanuel will be collecting coffee supplies for Friendship House ministries. Friendship
House Men’s and Women’s Day Centers go through about 175 lbs. of coffee, 275
lbs. of sugar and at least 50 large containers of non-dairy creamer per month. Non-sugar
sweeteners for diabetes is always provided. Please place donations in the
barrel and box under the foyer table. Thank you! Outreach Ministry
PROPERTY MINISTRY
We invite you to join
us on Tuesday Jan. 31st at 7:00 PM for a gathering of all those interested in
maintaining our facilities to the glory of God. Maintaining our beautiful
building and grounds is our sacred calling as members of the faithful here
gathered and together we can do so! Please join us on Tuesday as we gather our best

The ministry of
Greeter on Sunday mornings is a vital part of our welcoming embrace. At each
service greeters welcome arrivals with a smile and a bulletin. No experience is
necessary to join this ministry and it is a great way to become involved!

INFORMATIONAL MEETING REGARDING IMPLEMENTAION OF DELAWARE'S CIVIL UNION ACT
A Day for
Open Dialogue and Conversation regarding implementation of Delaware’s Civil
Union Act will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00
noon at St. James Church, Millcreek
Hundred. The meeting is open to clergy and laity and will cover legal aspects of the Act as
well as stories from some of the churches that have become a “blessing parish”.

Adult Christian Education

like to lead a series of four Sundays for adult Christian Education (or some
other combination), please contact me.
Teen Night Out
The first two are now scheduled for the New Year:
1.
January 28th at 5:30 p.m. - Starting at the
Volkos and going bowling – supper, conversation, and fun is the recipe.
Any teenager as of January 27th is welcome. Bring a friend! Tell us a week ahead!
2.
March 3rd at 5:30 p.m. - Starting at the Vallees
and going (somewhere!) – supper, conversation, and fun is the recipe. Any

EMMANUEL DINING ROOM
Join fellow parishioners for fellowship and outreach in helping to prepare the monthly luncheons for Emmanuel Dining Room. Food is prepared and delivered the 20th of each month in the Immanuel Kitchen - a tuna noodle casserole and cupcakes to bake and frost. There is also a need for people to prepare ahead chopped vegetables for the casserole. This can be done ahead anytime and frozen for later use. FRIENDSHIP HOUSE BREAKFAST
Immanuel is serving
breakfast on Sunday, January 22nd for Friendship House’s breakfast at Sts.
Andrew and Matthew Episcopal Church (SsAM). We will prepare the breakfast at
SsAM on 8th and Shipley Streets in Wilmington on Saturday January 21st from
4:00 p.m. to about 4:45 p.m. and will serve the breakfast at SsAM on Sunday from

EPIPHANY HOUSE DINNERS
Join us to help serve
one or more Epiphany House Dinners in 2012! Immanuel serves dinner to 4-6 women
at Friendship House’s Epiphany House the 3rd Friday of each month. Dinner is
brought ready to eat by Immanuel volunteers at 5:15 p.m. Then, the volunteers share
dinner and conversation with the women until about 6:15 p.m. There are spaces
available for most of 2012 at this point. Please sign up on the sheet on the
