Marian Whitesel Wilson

May her soul, and the souls of all the departed,

through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Please keep the Wilson family in your prayers.

Service details are incomplete at this time.

This Sunday is Pentecost and we will welcome The Dave Posmontier Jazz Trio to our morning service. Although Dave has played for Jazz Vespers during the past few years, this will be the first time we will have the Trio play at our morning service. The service will include a blend of traditional and jazz instrumental music, as we celebrate the coming of the Spirit.

Don't forget to wear red.

From time to time we make various changes in our Liturgy for variety of both content and theology. These changes include Service music like the Sanctus and the Gloria, as well as changing the Eucharistic Prayer, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Post Communion Prayer.

With the coming of Trinity Sunday on May 22nd it is time for us to make some seasonal changes. Most notably, we will begin using Eucharistic Prayer II from the Enriching our Worship series, as well as Prayers of the People and Nicene Creed from The New Zealand Prayer Book. You will find that these choices will tend to be more expansive in language and theology!

We are collecting food donations for St. Stephen's Food Pantry, our local pantry on Broom Street in Wilmington, through the Day of Pentecost. We are asking for a bag of groceries - dry and canned goods - for the poor and needy in our community. Please leave your gift of food under the table in the foyer.

Thank you.
