DITTY BOXES

The collection of items for Ditty Boxes for the Seamen’s Center at the Port of Wilmington is well under way. We kicked off the collection of items for Ditty Boxes on October 18 and the final day to contribute will be November 15.


Please contribute any of the items listed below and put them in the red bucket in the foyer:


Knitted hat and Scarf, Comb, Shampoo, Cough Drops, Candy, Warm Socks, Toothpaste, Razors, Playing Cards, Hand Lotion,

Bars of Soap, Winter Gloves, Toothbrush, Deodorant, Chapstick, Sewing Kit, Stationery and Pens

FRIENDSHIP HOUSE BREAKFAST

Come join us! Immanuel will be serving the Friendship House breakfast to the homeless and needy at Sts. Andrew and Matthew Church (SsAM) on Sunday, October 25th. We prepare the breakfast quiches at SsAM on the day before, Saturday, the 24th, from 4:00 - 4:45 p.m. and serve Sunday, the 25th, from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. If you would like to join us, contact Sue Welles in person or at 302.429.6676 or swelles1@verizon.net.
