For most of us the Holidays are a time of family, friends and thankfulness. For others who are not so fortunate, their family and friends have been torn apart by war, disease, and poverty and their lives are full of desperation and despair. Through your support we can bring hope and health to impoverished communities in Uganda through the work of our Gretta Scholars.
We are thrilled to announce that our board of directors has identified and approved another 10 nursing and midwife candidates for the upcoming November entry to school. This means that together, we are currently supporting 20 nursing and midwife scholars. But we still need your help to see them through the completion of their degrees.
Your past generosity has made a life-changing difference to the 29 Gretta Graduates who have already completed their studies and are now working in their communities to reduce infant mortality, improve maternal health, and save lives. If you can, please help by making a gift that will be multiplied again and again in the knowledge and care offered by nurses and midwives.
Thank you for joining us on this incredible journey and for your past and future support.
