Thank you so much to everyone who came to our Fall Festival and to all of you who sponsored it, we had a wonderful time! Don’t forget Volunteer Day is Saturday, November 6. We plan on working on the pond house, installing new beds in the boys’ rooms, painting, planting trees, landscaping, serving food, and much more.
I cannot begin to express how thankful we are for your support in making this ministry possible. The need for helping broken families and children who are just lost in America today can be overwhelming. There are so many programs out there trying to help by providing support after school, mental health, 10 week step programs, in-home services, and several others. All of them are worthy causes, earnestly trying to make a difference; but I believe too many families need much more in order to truly break the cycle that perpetuates the pain and brokenness.
A more holistic approach is needed to provide the space, discipline, time, and love that a child needs to heal the wounds that have been cut deep into the fabric of their view of the world and the people around them. It is precisely in this area that Boys Farm excels. Our approach and mission is simple, yet amazingly effective and lasting. Building boys rather than mending men within a Christian family framework truly makes all the difference!
I wish I could adequately express to you how blessed I am to witness this work and see firsthand the changes that take place every day. Please help us continue changing lives and reaching more children every day.
