Green Dining Alliance News
Our newest initiative is off to a busy start, processing inquiries, completing audits and certifying members for the program designed to increase restaurant sustainability. Since its official launch in December, the following restaurants have distinguished themselves as GDA members:

If there is a restaurant that you think should become a certified member of the GDA, send your mailing address to green.restaurants@stlouisearthday.org and we'll send you referral cards to leave with the Manager or Owner of your favorite restaurants. Event-Greening Workshop
If you help organize one or many events or fundraisers in the St. Louis region, we would like to invite you to this year's Event-Greening Workshop!

Coffee, a light breakfast and lunch are included in your $30 registration fee. Space is limited, so we ask that you submit your registration form and fee as soon as possible to secure your place.
The main focus of this
session will be on waste management and working with food vendors to
green your cafe areas. You will leave the session with a copy of our
Green Event Tool Kit and a greater understanding of the event waste
