We had so Much Fun Making at Upcycle

Thanks for making this event possible! Our generous sponsors: Kaiser Permanente, Nutiva, Richmond Sanitary Service, Hilltop Mall and Recyclemore. Our creative partners: Bridge Art Space, California 4-H, Crank Ensemble, Tom Nunn, Urban Tilth. And our outstanding instructors and volunteers.

Kenneth Baker on Victor Cartagena

San Francisco Chronicle Art Critic Kenneth Baker stopped by to experience Victor Cartagena's exhibition "Sites/Sights of Intervention."

"Sights/Sites" surprises by its emotionally stirring quality. It taps into our sense of guilty fecklessness as citizens of an empire that has reacted with vicious interventions for decades out of panic at losing its grip on world power." Read the full review here.

Take Our Survey & You Could Win!

The Richmond Art Center has launched a survey to help us serve you better! Please take a few minutes to give us your feedback. Your responses will help guide brainstorming and plans for projects within the center. All those that respond will be entered into a drawing for a Patron Family membership or ceramic prize!
