Kaufman County Cleanup and Recycling Event last weekend:
The Environmental Co-op participated at the Countywide Cleanup as well as offering a FREE Electronic Recycling and Paper Shredding in Kaufman last Saturday. Our Executive Director, Charles Whitaker was impressed with the amount of plastic we collected in a short time at the Terrell convenience station on FM 429. The E-waste event collected over 10,000 pounds of electronics recycled and 6,140 pounds of paper shredded.
