Recently named one of North America's 10 finest homes available for rental by Trip Advisor/Reuters (http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE66F1EZ20100716), the Over the Edge home is undoubtedly Colorado's finest vacation home available for nightly rental. With only two weeks left this season, we thought we would take this oportunity to reach out to former guests, family, and friends, and their friends as well and offer the opportunity to experience our wonderful slopeside retreat at a special discounted rate.
For those of you unfamiliar with the home, the Over the Edge chalet was completed in November of 2009 and is nestled high alongside Steamboat's legendary Mt. Werner. Guests enjoy true, green slope ski in, ski out access servicing every skier from beginner to expert. Perfect for large or extended families, corporate retreats, wedding parties or just a group of friends, we have no doubt that you will find our wonderful mountain retreat exceeds all of your expectations. A stunning architectural achievement, this spectacular 7 bedroom, 7.5 bath home boasts an incredible facade of stone block, field stone and mahogany that blend seamlessly into the mountainside landscape. Once inside, guests enjoy a decor designed by TRH interiors, known internationally for their work with Ritz Carlton Club properties around the world.
We have spared no expense to provide our guests with every amenity they could possibly desire. The home boasts a gourmet kitchen equipped with Wolf and Subzero appliances that is perfect for both Mom's cooking or the gourmet chef we will be glad to set up for you. The design of the home allows for large dinner parties where friends remain connected and seated comfortably at either of our two dining areas. Around the corner, but on the same floor, is a fully equipped bar with pool table, shuffleboard table, two large screen plasma TV's, poker table and beautiful stone fireplace. Just plug in your I-pod when you arrive you can access your own music and playlists throughout the house.
Downstairs guests will find a comfortable den with 52 inch Plasma TV, video games (both Wii and X-Box) and Blu-Ray DVD for a great place to relax after a long day on the slopes. Open another door and you will find a real movie theater, equipped with 12 leather seats and room for more on the floor, a 130 inch screen, Blu-Ray DVD and HD cable TV. The room is perfect for a movie night or watching a ball game during your stay. Lastly, the home has an indoor gym area with basketball court and mini-tennis court for a little after skiing exercise. You'll never want to leave the home.
We are currently booked for every day of the ski season except the week of February 12-19 and March 19-26.
