We Are Gearing Up!

Welcome to the first Guelph Studio Tour Newsletter, a publication designed to inform you on what is happening as we prepare for the 2011 Studio Tour weekend. You are receiving this newsletter because you participated or have been involved in the Guelph Studio Tour in the past. Feel free to forward a copy to anyone who might be interested.

As usual the Studio Tour will take place the weekend following Thanksgiving: Friday October 14 to Sunday October 16.

Welcome New Members

We would like to warmly welcome the following artists to the Fall 2011 Studio Tour:

Melanie Gausden: painter

Marnie Dallan: painter
Wolf Kohler: painter
Rebecca Erickson: mixed media & digital printmaker

Membership and participation in the Guelph Studio Tour is a juried process. A committee of four members meet and discuss all applications as they are received. A number of criteria are applied to the process in order to admit members that best suit the group's needs as a collective. Growth and change are embraced and a variety of art forms and styles are encouraged. Congratulations to the new members and our best wishes.

What's New

During the months of April and May some members will display works at the Boathouse (116 Gordon St., Guelph). Come have lunch, a cup of tea or an ice cream cone by the river and view new works by our talented group.
