Denton Unitarian Universalist Fellowship - Working together to inspire spiritual growth, encourage ethical actions, seek truth, and improve the community and the world by our actions.
This Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 9:30 and 11:30 am
“Emerging Sustainability” - What does our liberal religion teach us about the earth? What are the big 21st Century questions facing humanity and our world, and how are those questions evolving throughout the generations? Rev. Pam leads our Earth Day celebration.
In our 9:30am and 11:30am Explorers classes:
Nursery (infant to Pre-K): Infants and young children are invited to our nursery for a time of play, discovery, nurture, and connection. If you are visiting for the first time, feel free to arrive early to meet our nursery staff and to spend time in the room (classroom number 4) with your child.
Grades PreK-1st: Students will continue exploring Emergence. We will pot plants, sort recyclable materials, and make a craft to celebrate Earth Day.
Grades 2-5: Students will continue exploring Emergence. We will discuss evolution, watch a video, and celebrate Earth Day with a craft. Also, Alida earned 20 leadership points, so she gets to choose a theme for the day. Her chosen theme is Temporary Tattoos! All 2nd-5th grade students are invited to wear temporary tattoos to class this Sunday. If you do not have any temporary tattoos, Ms. Rachel will provide one. :)
