Starting and Running your Nonprofit Workshop

Participate in this 6 hour innovative session provided within a classroom setting, guiding you through the process of starting a nonprofit and creating a self-directed, customized grant proposal and fundraising plan for your organization.
Bring your project or scenario, course presented with material in easy-to-understand, hands-on exercises allowing you to develop a grant and a fundraising plan as you learn new fundraising skills. The activities and exercises are designed to help you:

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Maintaining a healthy nonprofit organization requires healthy practices in governance and management. This nonprofit organization development workshop is geared to develop those healthy practices in your nonprofit including developing and raising funds.
This workshop is intended for nonprofit staff or board members with little or no grant-writing or fundraising experience. It will give you the confidence and know-how to develop a successful grant proposal, this workshop will proceed step-by-step through the development of a proposal. Laptops are welcome. Tuition includes lunch.
