Archbishop Carlson Shares Vision for Catholic Identity of Schools in Article Series

The St. Louis Review is publishing a series of articles written by Archbishop Robert Carlson on the essential marks of Catholic school identity.  The first three articles are available to read online:

The series is set to continue with the following topics:

  • The school community is recognized as part of the larger Church, the one Body of Christ (Oct. 21)
  • A Catholic worldview is reflected in everything that is taught or offered to students experientially (Oct. 28)
  • Students are inspired by the Christian witness of teachers and staff (Nov. 4)

As the Federation of Catholic Schools in the Northeast Deanery continues toward the goal "to enhance the Catholic identity, academic programs, activity programs, and special programs of the Catholic elementary schools in the Northeast Deanery," pastors, principals, teachers and parents will reflect on these essential marks of Catholic identity.  To contribute to the conversation, share your comments ideas in an e-mail to advancement@FederationofCatholicSchools.org.
