A memorial celebration for Harvey Robb at CMC

HarveyJukeboxSepia
On Saturday, July 23 at 1:00pm, the CMC community is invited to a memorial in our Concert Hall to celebrate the life and music of Harvey Robb, a much-loved and longtime woodwinds faculty member at CMC. Harvey passed away last September.

Jon Carroll from the San Francisco Chronicle had these words to share about Harvey: "He was the most generous and respectful person you can imagine. He accorded each human being dignity. He did not preach about being a good person; he was a good person. We hear so much about 'role models,' people to give concerts for orphans or whatever; Harvey was a role model. He gave concerts for a million worthy causes in his lifetime; in a sense, his whole life was a concert for a worthy cause."

We had so much fun again this year! And we're looking forward to having Chamber Music Campers here at the end of July, too. It's great to be a kid here at CMC.
