2016 was an exciting year for GWM. We saw our Milwaukee Urban Garden network expand to 96 community gardens. We kicked off our GIScience program led by new staff member Tom Welcenbach. The GIScience Program supports the efforts and makes maps to show the impact of all Groundwork Milwaukees programs, as well as those of our community partners. We saw the kick-off of our yearly Harambee Farmers Market at the Clinton Rose Park. Alice Muehlbauer started as Urban Waters Program manager and is excited to make an impact in 2017. We also added Matt Rudman to our team. He will be managing Kilbourn Garden this summer as well as assisting in administrative roles. Check the website for updated bios to meet the team. The Groundwork Milwaukee team is primed and ready for a strong 2017!
