Chemical Engineer tapped as Energy Institute's interim head 

Professor Johannes Schwank, right, has been named interim director of the Michigan Memorial Phoenix Energy Institute as U-M leadership launches a national search for a new, permanent director. The move results from the departure of MMPEI Director Dennis Assanis for Stony Brook University where he will serve as provost. 

Support for advanced turbine research
