at Paizanos in downtown Norcross!

(7 Jones St NW, Norcross, GA 30071)

See Wynne Buran with any questions.

Kids Corner:
Only 1 Sunday Pageant Practice Left!

Attention Pageant Cast & Crew!  We only have 1 Sunday practice left, plus the Dress Rehearsal, before the pageant date!  The smallest children will only need to stay for the first 15-30 minutes of rehearsal to learn the songs, then those with lines will practice after that.  Please come if you can!  Costumes will be handed out this Sunday.

This year, we are going to perform a traditional Christmas Pageant that will be replete with the holy family, shepherds, wise men/women, angels, and critters.

See you Sunday!

The Angel Tree is Ready!
Each year, Mt. Carmel sponsors families in need and supplies them with gifts and food for the holidays. This year, families will be included from several local schools as well as the Norcross Cooperative Ministry.

The tree is set up near the handicap entrance, and loaded with paper angels. Each angel has a gift that a member of the family has requested, and a number. Just choose an angel and on the sheet nearby, sign your name beside that angel’s number. Then do your shopping and attach the angel to the gift.

The gifts MUST be returned to Mt. Carmel by Wednesday, DECEMBER 6th. (Place back under the Angel tree, or return to the church office during the week.)

Please do not wrap the gifts. Either place the gift in an open gift bag, or leave it unwrapped. This will help when sorting out the gifts.

Remember to stop by and pick up an Angel, and thank you for sharing the spirit of Christmas!

P.S. If you would like to help with the sorting of the gifts on Wednesday, Dec. 6th beginning at 5:00 p.m., please check the box on the Connect Card in your bulletin. Thank you!

You are cordially invited to a “Down Home Holiday” celebration on Sunday, December 17 immediately following the 10:30 am combined worship service!

Join us under the Christmas tree in the Fellowship Hall for a soup and cornbread lunch and a jolly time together. We’ll sing our favorite Christmas songs, play some reindeer games and we just might have an early visit from old St. Nick himself. Wear your favorite Christmas sweater and holiday garb.

If you need a little Christmas cheer, the “Down Home Holiday” will be the perfect event for you, your family, and children of ALL ages.

Staff Christmas Gift

We are so blessed to have such an exceptional staff here at Mt. Carmel. Throughout the year, we benefit from their talents, dedication and hard work. There is no doubt that Mt. Carmel would not be the same without them.

As a show of appreciation, we ask you to make a monetary Christmas gift as a special "thank you" from the congregation. If you would like to contribute, please place your gift in the offering plate. Checks may be made payable to the church, simply designate your gift as "Staff Christmas Gift".

And thank you for your gift to the wonderful Mount Carmel staff!
