Hi Dulcimering Friend,

The leaves will soon be turning colors and falling - and then, before you know it, Christmas will be here. It's not too soon to begin brushing up on your Christmas tunes, and you might want to add some new carols to your repetoire.  Check out the Christmas lessons in our song list here.

We are proud to announce there will be a 1/2 page ad for Dulcimer Crossing in the next issue of the Dulcimer Player News.  Will you be the first one to find our ad?

If you aren't already getting this magazine, we highly recommend that you subscribe.  This is a high-quality magazine with news about festivals, trends, mini lessons, tablature, and more.  I always find myself motivated to get busy practicing every time the newest copy arrives in my mailbox.

Check out our Blog ...

Steve has been adding new articles to our blog on a regular basis.  I found the blog this week very interesting, because it's about your angle of attack when playing the hammered dulcimer.  I keep my dulcimer and stand pretty flat, as Dan Landrum demonstrates in the picture, so other people can see what I'm doing.  But my husband says I'm leaning over to squint at the strings instead of standing up straight with good posture.  Hmmm ... might be time for glasses. What angle do you prefer? Your comments are always welcome on our blog.

As always, Dulcimering Friend, if you have any questions, always feel free to ask Steve Eulberg or myself.

Happy Dulcimering,
Linda Ratcliff
