Hi Dulcimering Friend,
Christmas is just around the corner, and finding just the right gift for someone who plays dulcimers can be difficult because the preferred instruments and accessories are so personal. Steve's father-in-law told him that one time, when he asked for camera lenses as a gift; and he was right! Some gifts can’t be picked off of the rack — they have to be tailored to each individual.
A Dulcimer Crossing Gift Certificate is the perfect gift that will support, challenge, and nurture your family and friends' growing skill-set and help them play the music they want to play, in the way they want to play it, and within their own time frame:
Dulcimer Crossing now offers online Gift Certificates for the subscription plan, and you can even fill them out and print them at home. Just shoot us an email, telling us whom you would like to receive the subscription, and for how long. Oh yes, don't forget to set up the payment plan too.
The Compatibility Button is Your Friend
I have been working on making our lessons compatible with as many browsers as possible, including the iPad. The videos pages are ready now, and the animation pages are about 50% complete. However, for some, the new codes have caused issues with Internet Explorer. If you are using IE 9 or above and experiencing a problem, just click on the compatibility button and see if the videos and animations work again.
If you continue to have an issue, send us an email so we can figure out a way to help.
You May Not Have Heard Yet . . .

The latest addition to our curriculum is the new series for beginners by Steve called String-Side UP, Absolute Beginner Series for Mountain and Hammered Dulcimer Players. We already have 17 lessons uploaded for mountain dulcimer players, and 22 lessons ready for hammered dulcimer players. And Steve still has MORE lessons planned for this series! Click here to see what lessons are available so far.
As always, Dulcimering Friend, if you have any questions, always feel free to ask Steve Eulberg or myself.
Happy dulcimering,
Linda Ratcliff
