Hi Dulcimering Friend,
Those of you who have been practicing this week may have noticed a change in the layout of lesson outlines.
-
Mountain and hammered dulcimer lessons for each tune have been separated. We think this will make it easier for you to zoom in on what you want to do.
-
We flipped the order of the lessons, putting our videos right at the top and the tablature and sheet music immediately under that - since those are the features most of you look for first.
It's been a slower process than I expected, but by next week I plan to have the "Jammin Tunes" section completed.
Steve's been on the road ...
Steve had a great road trip, and his blog this week tells about all the fun he had playing Homer Ledford's dulcimer. The weird thing about Ledford's dulcimer is that only the 3rd fret actually goes completely across the fretboard. Get a close-up look right here!
On the blog, you can listen to Steve playing his original tune, Soaring, on a Homer Ledford dulcimer. You should consider adding Soaring to your "to do" list of lessons you plan to practice with Dulcimer Crossing.
As always, Dulcimering Friend, if you have any questions, always feel free to ask Steve Eulberg or myself.
Happy dulcimering,
Linda Ratcliff
