GDoL first invitation Intl Day of peace 9-21-17
The International Day of Peace, September 21st, is particularly special for the Afghan Peace Volunteers this year!  From September 18-21 they, and two other groups, are hosting a conference on expanding humanity through peace and nonviolence.  Hazaras, Tajiks, Pashtuns, Uzbeks and others from all 34 provinces in Afghanistan are attending.
An important focus will be building cross-cultural relationships among participants, to promote environmental sustainability, equality, nonviolence, and the abolition of war.
Martin SHeen GDoL 9-21-17 with quote
The final event will be the Global Days of Listening!  Martin Sheen, who has participated in nonviolent actions all over the United States and has inspired activists globally, will join the conversation.

Martin Sheen: "...Activism is what I do to stay alive"
